Acquired Brain Injury is a silent epidemic in the U.S.A. We need to continue to spread awareness, education and increase available resources and services for those affected. The statistics for the known amount of new injuries each year is a staggering 2.5 million people! So many others go undiagnosed because the symptoms are not recognized, or because we as a society think that mild Traumatic Brain Injuries (mTBI) - typically concussions - are nothing to worry about. Even small concussions can lead to big health problems down the road, especially if a person accumulates multiple concussions, as do many athletes and domestic violence victims. So I want to do my part to help. Please join me!
Thank you!
